This plate features a Violet and Gold design that is a reproduction of a Pickard China design. The design was transferred to the plate and then meticulously hand painted with china paints. It is finished off with burnished gold which is a high quality, high gold content fired on 24K gold. Burnished gold is what was used on the original antique pieces and it has a rich satin finish.
